FROM STUDENT TO ENTREPRENEUR: HOW A COMPETITION LED TO BECOMING A STANFORD STUDENT
🏆 Every day, extraordinary founders join the community of successful students in the United States. In this article, we talk about Riya Karumanchi, the CEO of Smart Cane and Articulate. What's truly remarkable is that she was only 17 years old when she became the CEO of Smart Cane!
🏆 Riya is one of those ambitious individuals who is involved in multiple outstanding projects simultaneously. Her curiosity and creativity have opened many doors of opportunity for her.
🏆 After joining The Knowledge Society (TKS), Riya realized how little she understood about the potential of technology and entrepreneurship in creating social change. She transformed her curiosity into learning about artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), computer vision, and how these technologies could improve human lives.
🏆 In particular, Riya has become the founder of SmartCane, a device designed to assist blind individuals with spatial orientation and mobility.

THE KICK-OFF MEETING OF THE VIETNAM4FUTURE CHALLENGE
🚀 On May 23, 2025, we are thrilled to organize the kick-off meeting to introduce the Vietnam4Future Challenge, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at empowering Vietnamese high school students with the tools and mindset needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy.
🚀 This challenge introduces a dynamic platform that nurtures entrepreneurial thinking through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world problem solving. By encouraging students to identify local challenges and transform them into viable business opportunities, Vietnam4Future lays the foundation for the next generation of innovators and change-makers.
🚀 At the core of this challenge is a focus on data-driven business model development, equipping students with essential skills to make informed decisions in today's digital economy.
🚀 Participants will engage with cutting-edge tools and techniques, from customer discovery and lean startup methodologies to data analytics and strategic planning. Through this experience, students not only build their business acumen but also strengthen critical skills such as teamwork, resilience, and creative problem-solving. Vietnam4Future is more than a competition. We believe that it's a launchpad for youth to turn ideas into impact.
